On our second day we hopped onto the recreation trail that runs along the bay and took a leisurely four mile bike ride along the coast. I couldn't begin to say how many times we stopped just to marvel at the beauty. One lane is reserved for bicycles, thank goodness.
Leon went down for a closer look at the seashore.
Here we stopped to observe the sea lions resting on the beach. The area is fenced off and they are not bothered by all the tourists. Don't miss them in the foreground. I almost did!
After our bike ride we walked up the hill for a bite to eat and were delighted with this 19th century converted house and the menu.
I can't even describe how fresh this crab cake was.
Clever huh?
And then we strolled up and down the streets admiring all the cute and quaint 19th century homes. I can't imagine what one might cost but I probably have no need to know.
Space is somewhat limited for many of these homes.
All good things must come to an end so northward we traveled.
