Not everything is BIGGER in Texas

We are surrounded by giant pecan trees at Riverbend Park. I was quite excited when we pulled in and I noticed the pecans had just recently fallen. I envisioned having so many that I would want to bake a pie.


Upon closer inspection I realized how small they are and how long it takes to get the meat out of just one! I guess the pie will have to wait for another day, but it does prove that not everything is bigger in Texas. In the meantime Leon is wandering around outside with the pliers having a little snack.
